iSTAR Pulsar is not suitable for use where there is precipitation (rain, hail, snow) of any degree, water ingress is possible and image quality will likely be impacted. If precipitation starts in any way, users should immediately:
Find a safe place to stop and pull over
Cover iSTAR Pulsar to protect it from the precipitation
Stop any capture in progress
Power down iSTAR Pulsar completely
Remove iSTAR Pulsar from the roof mount/backpack, and place it in a sheltered location
Users should not take iSTAR Pulsar out of the sheltered location until the precipitation has completely stopped, and there is no risk of further exposure to moisture
The GPS antenna on the top of iSTAR Pulsar is NOT a handle, do not attempt to lift or move the device using this.
Only genuine accessories as recommended by NCTech should be used with iSTAR Pulsar
Always clean the lenses using the supplied lens cleaning cloth, gently but firmly cleaning in a circular motion from the center out the way
Ensure that the rubber instrument panel cover is securely closed when capturing in damp environments (be careful not to press the power button while closing it!)
Do not attempt to open the device, it is a sealed unit, and doing so will invalidate your warranty
Do not subject to physical shock.
Do not adjust or tamper with the lenses.
Care should be taken not to touch the lenses with your fingers.
