As of iSTAR Pulsar firmware v2.5.4 (released 27th November 2019), users may select from both standardised and customisable capture presets that optimise image quality for a specific environment.
A user may switch between these modes by browsing to the Settings option in the Main Menu:
The Capture Modes option is found within the Preferences tab:
The currently selected capture mode will show in the top status bar of the app, respectively these are as follows:
Drive
Exposure optimised for outdoor scenes, capture rate is locked to one frame every 4 meters.
Walk
Exposure optimised for outdoor scenes, capture rate is locked to one frame every 1 meter.
Indoor
Exposure optimised for indoor scenes, capture rate is locked to one frame every 2.33 seconds.
Low Light
Exposure optimised for low-light indoor scenes, capture rate is locked to one frame every 2.33 seconds.
Custom Outdoor
Exposure optimised for outdoor scenes, users may select a custom capture rate based on either distance or time.
Custom Indoor

While each capture mode is optimised for either outdoor or indoor conditions, users can if they wish use the exposure compensation setting within the live view functionality to further tweak the exposure up or down as desired.
