As of iSTAR Pulsar firmware v2.3.0 (released 29th April 2019), users may select from preset capture modes that optimise image quality for a specific environment.
A user may switch between these modes by browsing to the Settings option in the Main Menu:
The Capture Modes option is found within the Preferences tab:
The currently selected capture mode will show in the top status bar of the app, respectively these are as follows:
Exposure optimised for outdoor scenes, defaults to a frame captured every 4 meters.
Exposure optimised for outdoor scenes, defaults to a frame captured every 1 meter.
Exposure optimised for indoor scenes, defaults to 7 frames captured every 3 seconds.
