An indoor mode is planned for iSTAR Pulsar, however currently the product is optimised for outdoor capture while mounted to a vehicle or backpack.
There is however a workaround that allows users to capture indoors:
Ensure that the iSTAR Pulsar device has acquired a GPS lock
Users may do this by powering up the device while located outdoors or at least with a clear view of the sky (next to a window for example)
Confirm that the device has acquired a lock via the mobile app
When iSTAR Pulsar has acquired a GPS lock, the GPS status icon will have a "dot" within it, and tapping the icon will show current coordinates:
Relocate the device indoors within the desired area of capture, ideally on a suitable tripod
iSTAR Pulsar contains a small internal battery that will allow it to retain the GPS lock on a temporary basis - as such, the device may be powered down, relocated indoors, then powered up again, and it should still have a lock.
Power up iSTAR Pulsar to "Ready" status
Upload the indoor capture to VR.World
Further details on uploading data may be found here.
Preview, and if happy, pay for the capture to be stitched
So long as the device did not move while capturing indoors, the capture will yield very few stitched frames due to the 4-meter spacing rule.
