In order to process capture data in VR.World, a user must add a credit or debit card as the payment method which will be used to pay for processing costs.
To do this, log into VR.World, open the user menu in the top-right corner, and select "Account":
Adding a payment method then consists of three stages:
Add billing address
Under "Addresses", select "Add Address".
Type in the address details, these must match the address registered against the payment method that you are going to add. All mandatory fields that are marked with a star (*) must be populated.
The "Billing" checkbox specified which card will be used to pay for processing going forward, a user may add multiple cards, but must always select a default one.
The "Default" checkbox is currently not used, this is related to forthcoming functionality.
The first address added to an account will be set as both "Default" and "Billing", regardless of whether the boxes are checked or not - users may "Edit" addresses going forward to set a new "Default" or "Billing" address.
Click "Save Address".
The address will show as having been added - users may now continue to add further required addresses, or may click on the "Edit" button to edit existing ones.
Add VAT number
Users with a VAT number may enter this here to ensure that they are not charged VAT on their payments via VR.World.
To do this, simply type the VAT number in full into the relevant field and click the "Save" button:
A saved VAT number is tied to the address entered - to change/remove the VAT number, the address must be amended or removed.
Add payment details
Under "Payment Details", populate card number, expiry and security code fields.
Select address that card is registered to.
Click "Save Card Details".
The payment details will show as having been added - users may now continue to add further required payment methods using the same method.
For security reasons, it isn't possible to edit a payment method once it has been added - a user must "Delete" the payment method and re-add it again.
