In order to register a Wi-Fi network, this is done by connecting mobile device to iSTAR Pulsar, launching the iSTAR Pulsar Mobile App, and doing the following:
Select "Network Connection" option
Tap "scan" button to search for nearby Wi-Fi networks
Await network list populating, tap on desired Wi-Fi network to select it
Enter network password
To ensure that this is entered correctly, consider using the visibility toggle as shown below:
Tap "Join Network"
Users may now move the mode switch to the Left to connect to the registered network - the top status LED (Wi-Fi) will pulse green as the device attempts to connect, and then show solid green when iSTAR Pulsar has successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network.
If when moving the mode switch to the left the top status LED turns solid pink rather than solid green, then the iSTAR Pulsar device has failed to connect to the Wi-Fi network specified.
If when opening the Network List the Wi-Fi network to be used does not appear, then users may instruct the iSTAR Pulsar device to perform a full re-scan for Wi-Fi networks, this is outlined in the article re-scanning for Wi-Fi networks.
