Currently this feature is only available to participants in the Virtualizer Program - all other users will find that the option to load a route file is disabled. If you are signed up to the Virtualizer Program and unable to load a route file, please contact our Support Team.
Virtualizers will be sent new routes to be captured via email. The route provided may be loaded to the iSTAR Pulsar Mobile App as follows:
Open email containing route file on mobile device

Download attached route file (.json) to mobile device

Open Mobile App, browse to "Capture" section

Tap "Routes" button

Browse to and select downloaded route file on device internal storage

Wait for route to populate in mobile app
Users will first see the route in question appear as a blue line on the map (users may need to zoom out if the route is not nearby current location in order to see it).
Navigation steps will then also be displayed at the top of the app, which will guide the user along the route in question:

Users may now navigate to waypoint "0" of the route, which is the starting point, and prepare to start capture. The route overview file (.png) supplied alongside the route file may also be used to plan route capture.
Note that users are advised to access and download the route file prior to connecting their mobile device to iSTAR Pulsar via Wi-Fi, as a cellular data connection will be required to do so. The route file may then be loaded to the mobile app at any point, whether connected with iSTAR Pulsar or not.
